They gathered at the Wolfe Island Community Medical Clinic in Marysville to touch base, compare notes, and practice their skills. There were some delicious treats to be had, too. I spoke yesterday at #OEMC2024 about the future of rural community building using communal water and wastewater systems as an alternative to standard well and septic development. It is the best opportunity for small rural communities to be sustainable and knit new residential and commercial development into villages and hamlets as we have in Frontenac County. I have been working on this project for more than seven years, and Frontenac has now set up a public utility to manage these systems in the future.
