🚨regreSSHion - CVE-2024-6387 Alert 🚨 Today, we have an important update regarding a new vulnerability, CVE-2024-6387, also known as regreSSHion. The high-severity CVE-2024-6387 in OpenSSH is a reintroduction of a formerly patched 2006 flaw, and it allows unauthenticated RCE as root. It affects glibc-based Linux systems running sshd in its default configuration; it may also exist in Mac and Windows environments (though that hasn't been proven yet). ⏩ Remotely exploitable ⏩ Grants full root privileges ⏩ Requires no user interactions ⏩ Affects the default config ⏩ Allows for arbitrary code execution Our platform has proactively notified our customers about this critical issue to safeguard their systems, and we encourage you to share this post with your team to ensure that it's properly patched.
