Hier, nous avons évoqué la nomination de Jennifer McDonald comme Championne de l’année pour la communauté des investisseurs aux Start-up Community Awards - Montréal NewTech (MTL NewTech) - Startupfest, mais elle n’est pas la seule représentante de notre écosystème à être en lice pour une récompense ! Here it is—the unveiling of the 4 start-ups selected for our Climate Tech Acceleration Program - Fall 2024 edition! ChillSkyn Inc.: ChillSkyn develops and commercializes passive radiative cooling solutions (premium coatings) for the transportation, electronics, and building envelope industries. This solution blocks up to 95% of the heat from the sun on surfaces where the paint is applied. EleQtrion: EleQtrion aims to develop and commercialize green aluminum-ion batteries made from local materials for the storage, small mobility, and electronics markets. This technology reduces the risk of battery overheating, among other advantages. Hythermal: Hythermal develops flexible and modular carbon capture technologies to decarbonize industries reliant on fossil fuels and support the production of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). EVB360: EVB360 develops and commercializes modular green energy storage solutions, enabling access to energy anywhere at a lower cost. Its solution allows for the reuse of different types of batteries in a single rack. Voici enfin le dévoilement des 4 start-ups sélectionnées pour notre programme d'accélération en Technologies Climatiques - édition Automne 2024 ! ChillSkyn Inc.: Développe et commercialise des solutions de refroidissement radiatif passif (revêtements premium) pour les industries du transport, de l'électronique et de l'enveloppe des bâtiments. Cette solution permet de bloquer jusqu'à 95 % de la chaleur provenant du soleil sur les surfaces où la peinture est appliquée. EleQtrion: Met au point des batteries aluminium-ion vertes, fabriquées à partir de matériaux locaux, pour les marchés du stockage, de la petite mobilité et de l'électronique. Cette technologie permet de réduire le risque de surchauffe des batteries, entre autres avantages. Hythermal: Développe des technologies de capture du carbone flexibles et modulaires pour décarboniser les industries dépendantes des combustibles fossiles et soutenir la production de carburant aviation durable (SAF) EVB360: Développe et commercialise des solutions modulaires de stockage d'énergie verte permettant l'accès à l'énergie partout et à moindre coût. Sa solution permet de réutiliser différents types de batteries dans un même rack.
