Wanted to try out Dekki but don't want to start over with a new flashcard deck? Well, now you can import Anki flashcards directly into Dekki and study them using our spaced repetition algorithm.... check it out at https://www.dekki.ai/ 😎

We're so excited to join the OVHcloud Startup community! Their program gives our team at Dekki access to 1-on-1 tech consultations, thousands of dollars in cloud credits, and most importantly, access to NVIDIA GPUs to help train our algorithm... Looking forward to this continued partnership! #deeplearning #spacedrepetition #edtech

We've just launched our "AI Explainer" feature, which allows students reviewing content on Dekki to instantly contextualize their learning materials with detailed AI-generated explanations in a single click. We're excited for you to try it out! #spacedrepetition #learning #education

A huge thank you to Mila - Institut québécois d'intelligence artificielle for awarding us their Acceleration Voucher funding! We're using this additional support to deploy our cognitive science ML algorithms to improve memorization rates for our users. #Dekki #SpacedRepetition #AI

How do people forget? It's a question we ask ourselves every day at Dekki, and we think our deep learning algorithms have the answer. Over time, the likelihood you remember any piece of information you learn experiences exponential decay, generating a "forgetting curve". It's the reason you have to study things repeatedly to hold them in your long-term memory, and it's a problem that's always plagued students - including us! We thought we'd share one of our early "predicted" forgetting curves (blue line) versus a "true" forgetting curve (black line) for an individual user's probability of recalling one piece of information. With less than 2 months of a user's studying data, you can see we're getting pretty good at predicting when they're going to forget something! Now for the important part: every single piece of information you learn has its OWN forgetting curve, that constantly changes and adapts depending on your study schedule. At Dekki, we're able to predict what these forgetting curves look like for EVERY user, for EVERY piece of information, at ANY point in time. That way, we can show you things right before you're about to forget them, so you can hold more things in your brain for longer. And we think that's pretty cool. #Memory #DeepLearning #SpacedRepetition

Our team at Dekki is super excited to be joining the Mila Startups community! This partnership will help us expand our suite of AI-powered cognitive science tools to helps students worldwide memorize more effectively. https://www.dekki.ai/
Wishing a warm welcome to the four companies who have been selected as Mila Startups this year! Mila Startups are founded by members of the Mila community and selected based on their scientific excellence and commitment to the responsible use of AI. Here’s a quick look at what they do: · CertKOR AI offers a pay-per-use solution to audit and control the use of personal data in AI processes. · Dekki helps people memorize using an adaptive AI algorithm. · Rubisco AI enables users to easily map all the trees in their forests, determine their species and measure their carbon content. · Zette AI facilitates access to online news platforms. Congratulations and welcome to the Mila Startup community! Lionel Tidjon, Ph.D, Marawan Gamal, Arthur Ouaknine, Etienne Laliberté, Mohammad Reza Samsami
