With great pride and gratitude, we celebrated International Housekeeping Week last week, recognizing the amazing work of our housekeeping team at Delta Hotels Burnaby. This dedicated group, led by our awesome Housekeeping Leaders Arlyn, Perla, and Gurj, puts incessant efforts to keep our property tidy, safe, and pleasant. Engaging events such as Donuts + Chai Day, Power of Clean Day, AES Celebration Day, and Room Cleaning with our leaders, along with afternoon breaks hosted by Atlas and heartfelt recognition with certificates. Every day was an honour to this incredible group of people that keep our offices, public spaces, and rooms spotless and comfortable. We are very grateful to our incredible team for their daily fantastic work and unwavering commitment; you all truly inspire us with your dedication!

Yesterday, we hosted our annual Root Beer Float Day to raise funds for the Children’s Miracle Network. We had many guests, partners, and associates contribute to this great cause. We are very grateful for all the support and look forward to next year’s event!

Delta Hotels by Marriott Burnaby Conference Centre is excited to celebrate National Root Beer Float Day on Thursday, August 15th, from 1:00PM to 5:30 PM, as we raise funds for Children's Miracle Network. The tradition began with J. Willard and Alice S. Marriott, who started a 9-seat A&W Root Beer stand in Washington, D.C., to escape the summer heat. In honor of this heritage, Marriott properties will be hosting Root Beer Float socials throughout August.

Our bodies were getting awakened through a Chair Stretches session, then they got to be relaxed right after with mini back and foot massages. We also had a unique add to our traditional BINGO with bubble teas. The last day was filled with lots of excitement through our Relay Race, Ice Cream Bar and of course, many prizes.
