  • Take home a piece of #DesignTO25 w/ the 2025 Festival poster by aftermodern.lab. Each year, a Limited Edition Print is produced to commemorate the Festival's visual identity. This year, 2025, entered into stage two of the generative art concept. Each of these posters—and the illustrations produced throughout the festival by Amir & Aryaan—were coded. The specialized scripts and utilities took predefined parameters, dynamic parameters, and a pool of images from DesignTO over the years to generate each illustration—a pixel map of colour, time, and year. To purchase, visit: https://buff.ly/42H9VBz Two versions were created. Both versions feature a bottom layer that celebrates 2025's visual language, a top layer that celebrates DesignTO's 15 years, and a commemorative sticker that you can keep separate or attach to the print. Each print was handmade by the members of aftermodern's team: Amir, Aiyana, Alex, Anthony, and Josh. #DesignTO25 #merch #DesignTO25 #DesignTO #DesignTOFestival #Design #Art #TorontoDesign #FestivalSwag

  • A great collaboration between DUER, DesignTO Festivak and Ruth Wickremesooriya for the 15th Annual DesignTO Festival! Through woven and paper works crafted from discarded textiles, ‘Winter Waiting’ by Ruth Wickremesooriya is an exhibition with accompanying events exploring what winter trees can teach us about how to avoid despair when there are no signs of life around us. There are still many exhibitions open so please check out the full online Festival schedule to plan your post-festival excursions! #DesignTO25 #DesignTO #DesignTOFestival #design #community #creativity #design #art #festival #TorontoDesign

A gathering space, reading room, maker space, and conversation platform—all in one. 📍 Christie Contemporary 🗓 Jan 18–Feb 08, 2025 | Closing Reception: Feb 8, 2-5 PM 💸 Free Admission Don’t miss this final chance to experience FELT Unfurled before it disappears!
