Yesterday, we presented the first-ever Beacon Event Award to the Halifax International Security Forum! HISF President, Peter Van Praagh, was on hand to accept the award which recognizes events that significantly enhance Halifax's reputation as a world-class destination. Heading into its 16th year this November, the HISF certainly does just that, bringing 4,300 leaders from around the democratic world to Halifax to discuss important global issues.
