Have you ever wondered how your devices manage to stay lightning fast, despite their massive storage requirements? 💻 📱 Well, the secret lies in the tiny powerhouses called SSDs (Solid State Drives)! But did you know that any defects in the essential components like Flash Memory, Controller, and SATA Connectors can slow down your computer?  🕵♂️ Let's dive into the inner workings of SSDs and keep our devices moving at lightning speed!   For this scan, we used Comet Yxlon's high-resolution, multi-application FF35 CT Inspection solution and their advanced software solution VistaX to enhance the resolution of the scan with Quality Scan.   We further segmented the regions of interest (ROI), with our Volume ROI tool. This seamlessly helps us measure the volume of the ROI and identify and label distinct regions within a 3D image that are connected to each other. #Dragonfly3DWorld #3Drendering #imagesegmentation #electronics #imaging #3Dimaging

Do you know what’s so fascinating about Alloys? 🕵♂️ They allow us to combine different metals to achieve properties that would be impossible with single metals. However, combining metals to develop alloys can increase the chances of porosities in them. That's where Dragonfly 3D World comes in- we scanned one such interesting alloy, with the help of our Dragonfly 3D World. Ti-6Al-4V (Ti64) is a popular material in Aerospace, Medical, and other industries due to its high strength to weight ratio. When it comes to such industries, safety is of high concern, and we help you achieve that by detecting defects in such Alloys.   In the video below, with the help of Dragonfly 3D World, we successfully segmented Ti-6Al-4V for porosities using the Convolutional neural network (CNN). Additionally, with the help of deep learning technology, you can train CNN and automatically detect and quantify porosities, ensuring safety in critical industries. Do you want to know more? Check out our website today! #AI #segmentation #alloys #materialscience #porosityanalysis #Dragonfly3DWorld

Can you identify the name of the remarkable dinosaur with a distinctive appearance and rare herbivorous nature?🦕🌴 Beyond its dietary habits, what truly sets it apart is its skull structure, which offers valuable insights into the process of evolution and the theory of adaptation. The spiky and bony composition of its skull suggests that this creature may have had to fend off predators, while its specialized teeth appear to be an adaptation for consuming large vegetation and plants. In collaboration with the esteemed The University of Texas at Austin and their High-Resolution X-ray CT Facility Archive, we had a chance to research this exceptional specimen. With our cutting-edge software solution, Dragonfly 3D World, we utilized 3D Painting tools to expertly segment the Region of Interests and unlock a wealth of knowledge about this fascinating creature. Check out our video below and take a guess at which captivating creature this skull structure belongs to! #dragonfly #AI #3D #3DRendering #archaeology #science #research

🧠 Did you know? The human brain contains over 86 billion neurons, each packed with crucial structures like the nucleus, mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum, and synaptic vesicles, all of which help drive brain function.   In this video, Dragonfly 3D World's deep learning tools were used to segment these structures. The software separated the nucleus, mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum, and synaptic vesicles, offering a clear view of their layout and interactions within brain cells. This level of detail enhances our understanding of how these microscopic structures contribute to overall brain activity and could lead to new insights in neuroscience research.   #Neuroscience #DeepLearning #Microscopy #BrainResearch #Dragonfly3DWorld #NeuronSegmentation #NeuralCells
