Only 2 spots open for our Animation Camp next week, July 8-12 from 9am-3pm! Youth aged 10-14 can have fun creating their own animated shorts at Ed Video’s Animation Camp! Instructed by Jaden Howson, campers will spend the week learning the basics of how to animate using Krita, an open-source digital painting and animation program. On Monday, June 24th at 7PM, Ed Video will be holding its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at 404 York Road, Guelph, Ontario. A Zoom link is available for those who cannot attend in-person. This year's meeting will provide a review of the 2023-2024 period, and we'll present an insightful glimpse into the upcoming year’s budget (2024-2025), highlighting our strategic plans and financial projections. Meeting materials and the agenda can be accessed on our website. Ed Video Members are encouraged to attend to share insights and vote on any proposed motions and policies. After 19 years of dedicated service as our Executive Director, the wonderful Elizabeth Dent will be stepping into retirement! Join us at Ed Video (404 York Road, Guelph) tonight at 7PM as we celebrate the many contributions Liz has made to Ed Video and to the Guelph arts community!

We want to offer our heartfelt thanks to everyone who donated or shared our GoFund me. To date we have raised a whopping $20,125! Thanks so much to Soak Film who took the reins and made the launching video. This amazing success means so much to us, to know our community supports us, to know we are headed in the right direction, and to have our community surround us. Your ideas and suggestions, your participation on committees, all of your thoughtful approaches to sustainability, gamely agreeing to play our raffles even though you have already given to the GoFund me, all these things make it certain that Ed Video can weather these changing times.
