Celebrating EmpowHERto’s Journey: A Recognition of Impact from MPP Chris Glover💜💜💜 We are thrilled to share that on October 21st, 2024, EmpowHERto was deeply honoured to receive a Certificate of Recognition from Member of Provincial Parliament of Ontario Dr. Chris Glover, marking our 7th anniversary of empowering marginalized girls and young women. Representing the Spadina-Fort York district, MPP Glover’s thoughtful words affirmed the impact of our mission in uplifting young minority women and girls, providing resources, and nurturing resilience across communities. On behalf of the EmpowHERto family, two of staff member: Melanie and Jada and Board Chair: Di Gallo accepted this certificate of recognition. This recognition ignites our resolve to keep breaking down barriers, creating opportunities, and empowering voices that deserve to be heard. Thank you, MPP Chris Glover, for your words of encouragement. Together, we’re building a world where every girl and young woman has the support, resources, and community she needs to thrive. We’re proud to serve, and remain committed to fostering positive change every day! 💜💜 #EmpowHERto #Recognition #Empowerment #CommunityImpact EmpowHERtoFL

Financial literacy is beyond liberating💸 💜 Did you know that over 60% of young minority women face financial challenges, including limited access to resources like loans, credit, and savings programs? According to research, 1 in 3 minority women report feeling unprepared to manage their finances due to a lack of financial education, and this makes breaking the cycle of poverty even harder. For young minority girls and women, financial freedom isn’t just about dollar signs, it’s about breaking generational cycles and creating lasting impact. This is one of the many reasons our Finance4HER program was developed. EmpowHERto remains committed to providing education, tools and support needed to take control of finances, helping young marginalized women and girls pave the way toward generational wealth and long-term empowerment.💜💪🏾✨ #EmpowHERto #Finance4HER
