It’s great to have Enbridge Gas North Carolina as a part of the Enbridge family, but our thoughts continue to be with the residents in Western North Carolina after the devastation caused by Tropical Storm Helene. Recovery and restoration efforts continue, and the team is working hard alongside first responders, utility workers and nonprofit partners. #NorthCarolina #Recovery #EnbridgeGas
Our thoughts are with those impacted by Hurricane Milton and the several tornadoes that swept across Florida. In North Carolina, recovery and restoration efforts are still underway from Tropical Storm Helene, and we are fully committed to supporting the affected communities during this challenging time. A special thanks to all the first responders, utility workers, and nonprofit organizations who continue to provide essential aid and support. Our Enbridge Gas North Carolina team is working around the clock with all agencies, government, and other utilities to coordinate efforts. It will take time and we expect a long recovery; however, we are making progress. We’ve recently completed land restoration work in Woodfin and Cane Creek. Please stay safe and we will keep you updated as to our progress. Learn more about our response efforts in Western North Carolina. https://lnkd.in/eeCdaSBM

Gregory Ebel, our President and CEO, and Colin Gruending, Executive Vice President, and President of Liquids Pipelines, led a tour of our Sarnia Terminal. They also hosted a roundtable luncheon to discuss Line 5, which extends from Superior, Wisconsin, through Michigan’s Upper and Lower Peninsulas, ending in Sarnia, Ontario. Line 5 is vital energy infrastructure. The products it transports become the fuels many people rely on every day – in both the US Midwest and Ontario. It has the capacity to transport 540,000 barrels per day of light crude oil and natural gas liquids, which are refined into fuels and propane for Midwest communities.
