📌 Document in the Heat of Battle In fast-paced tech, the best time to document is right in the heat of battle. 🛠️ When you're solving problems and building the future, capture every detail. 📝 Waiting means losing accuracy and context. -->Why? Precision: Fresh insights are the most accurate. 🎯 Context: Capture the 'why' behind decisions. 🔍 Efficiency: Saves time by preventing repeated mistakes. ⏳ Knowledge Sharing: Keeps everyone on the same page. 📚 Continuous Improvement: Adapts and refines processes in real-time. 🔄 -->How? Use simple tools like wikis or shared docs. 🖥️ Set clear standards. ✅ Make it a habit. 🔄 Don’t wait. Document now. Small effort, big payoff. 🚀 #Productivity #DevLife #Efficiency #SoftwareDevelopment #Documentation #KnowledgeSharing

Context switching is real and has real impacts to project life. I've boiled them down here. Which of of the these do you notice the most on projects? 1. Mental Overhead: Task switching requires effort to recall details, reducing productivity. 2. Switching Time: It takes time to regain focus after switching tasks, leading to lost productivity. 3. Increased Errors: Frequent switching leads to more mistakes and lower code quality. 4. Interrupted Flow: Switching disrupts deep focus, making it harder to concentrate. 5. Project Delays: Frequent switching slows progress and leads to delays.

Some more no nonsense tips on dealing with stakeholders: 1. Communicate Clearly: Don't sugarcoat it; be direct and transparent. 2. Understand Needs: Know exactly what your stakeholders want and need. 3. Build Relationships: Trust and collaboration are your power moves. 4. Set Expectations: Define who does what and what the goals are, no room for confusion. 5. Regular Updates: Keep them in the loop with constant progress reports and feedback sessions. 6. Be Flexible: Roll with the punches and handle changes like a pro. 7. Stay Organized: Use the right tools to keep track of everything and everyone. 8. Show Value: Always highlight the wins and benefits to keep them on board. 9. Conflict Resolution: Address issues head-on, quickly and fairly. Engage Continually: Keep them involved and engaged every step of the way.

What I've found: On projects, permitting teams to STAY FOCUSED on one important task at a time (without switching) can save countless hours, days and weeks off project timelines. Try it and see!

What I've seen: many have tried... and failed to adhere to the triple constaint of time, cost and scope on projects. A much better practice is to acknowledge this interdependency (much like the rules in ANY game) and play WITHIN the boundaries; and still WIN!

What I've found: As a project starts, progresses and ends, the continual focus needs to be "how does this add value to the intended users of this product or service?". With this as the guiding light and continually reviewed as customer needs change, great value can be realized!
