What a night at the Startup CPG mixer at Gourmet Garage! Our very own Logan Murtha, Senior Brand Strategist, represented Equator Design in New York - check out Logan’s key takeaways: "I got to meet some of the industry’s most passionate entrepreneurs. Energy was high!" Logan connected with founders to discuss bold flavors, clean ingredients, and minimalist pack designs - but what really stood out to her was the sense of community. As she highlighted, "In a city as vast as New York, it’s rare to find moments when it feels small. At this mixer, handshakes turned into hugs, and founders-turned-friends rooted for each other. As Fairtrade Fortnight comes to an end, we are proud to highlight our collaboration with the Co-op, a leader in Fairtrade initiatives. Pioneers in the movement, they were the first to incorporate Fairtrade cocoa, sugar, and even launch a Fairtrade wine range! Understanding the importance of effectively conveying their Fairtrade mission, we reimagined their product packaging to not only showcase the Fairtrade logo but also share the compelling stories behind each product. After being challenged by The Grocer to create packaging fit for the future, we tackled convenience, sustainability, and nutrition with a fresh concept that reimagines yoghurt for children. Taking cues from lunchtime salad bowls, our Cal brand “makes yoghurt nutritious, delicious, and fun, while supporting sustainability,” says Nathan Ball, Creative Director. We prioritised sustainability by using biodegradable plastics and single material packaging for easier recycling. Plus, we’re exploring an innovative vending machine for grab-and-go convenience...
