What does it take to build and install a giant claw machine for GMC with Momentum Worldwide at the Calgary Stampede? Take a look! 👀 Our dedicated team has spend weeks carrying out meticulous design, production, fabrication, and installation for this one-of-a-kind attraction. Thousands of excited visitors attempt to retrieve prize boxes with the claw from a specially crafted truck bed using the control station’s wheel and gear shift. Key components of this setup includes: ➡ Dimensional "GMC Pickup" letters featuring LED lighting strips along the edges ➡ A custom truck bed container, crafted from aluminum and polycarbonate sheets, designed to securely hold prize boxes ➡ A shop gantry supplied by Kristian Electric Ltd., seamlessly integrated with our custom-built claw controlled with Arduino technology ➡ A control box equipped with a built-in monitor displaying a live overhead view of the truck bed, complemented by custom GMC elements like seating and controls ➡ Robust truss and framing systems supporting large-format graphics and lighting ➡ Additional branded elements such as TV monitor stations, a prize counter, and custom flooring We are excited to reintroduce this thrilling attraction for its second year. JUKE 🎸 BOX 🎶 HERO 🕺 *shreds air guitar* How cool is this custom jukebox that we collaborated on with FUSE Create for Air Miles 😎 We outfitted this unit with branded blue vinyl decals, printed and installed in-house. We also built a road case for shipping, and supplied the other portable outdoor displays. The branded double-sided flags, 10x10 tent, and double-sided signs create a fully branded environment for this fun outdoor experiential marketing activation! Sitting by the fire might not seem ideal when it's over 30°C this week 🔥 😬 However, the GMC tailgate campfire zone offers a cozy retreat right in the centre of the Calgary Stampede grounds! We love this addition next to the claw machine stage that lets you envision adventure and mountain tranquility. Our team designed and fabricated the campfire with a foam + plywood base made with our CNC machine, with a sand-like finish. Real stones and logs were used to build the campfire structure 🪨 🪵 An electric fire imitation device was built into the base with a channel to run electrical, where wiring was concealed below the display. Various hardware and adhesives were used to secure the logs and base, while protecting the electrical components from any weather damage. We installed additional landscaping features to create an authentic campfire atmosphere paired against scenic graphics 🏔 Who's ready for a road trip with GMC?
