Last night was the unveiling of Mino Bimaadiziwin, Good Life, 2024. A heartfelt thank you to our partners, team, community, and talented artists for making it unforgettable. This monumental 50m x 7m installation was crafted by the father-son duo August and Luke Swinson from the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation. Exhibition Place is incredibly proud to commission this piece, reflecting our commitment to fostering year-round community activities and celebrating public art. Toronto's Deputy Mayor and City Councillor for Ward 10, Spadina–Fort York Ausma Malik beautifully said, "I have so much gratitude for all of us to be here together to gather and celebrate this incredible project."
