Arizona Paves the Way for Physical Therapists: Last week, Arizona set a new benchmark for the physical therapy profession with updated legislation. Physical therapists in the state may have the authority to order all imaging for musculoskeletal diagnostics—a privilege signed by the Governor. (pending 90 day period after thr governor signed) This landmark decision not only elevates the state of Arizona but also propels the entire physical therapy profession into a new era of autonomy and responsibility. “Continuous improvement is better than delayed perfection.” - Mark Twain This move by Arizona is a critical position and sets an example for other states. This demonstrates a relentless pursuit of excellence in healthcare. Resistance is inevitable, but it is through continuous education and dialogue that we will elucidate the significance of this advancement. 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 😲 I came across this hilarious challenge on Instagram where healthcare providers ask their non-medical significant others to interpret medical abbreviations in a note. The video on the left, posted by @dpt.5unny (Seung Eun L.) on Instagram, is a riot. I've included the link in the comments so you can enjoy it too. It got me thinking: how would ezPT handle interpreting such a note? Check it out for yourself. I sped up the second half of the video because, honestly, I was typing this note at a glacial pace 😅.
