Fiera Comox Partners is thrilled to announce its first investment under Fiera Comox’s Global Sustainable Timberland Strategy with the signing of an agreement to enter a newly established joint venture with Ngāi Tahu Holdings (Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu) . The Ngāi Tahu estate is situated on approximately 45,500 hectares (110,000 acres) and consists primarily of radiata pine and Douglas fir plantation forests. This strategy, which aims to build a diversified portfolio of high-quality, sustainable timber assets worldwide, is led by a team with extensive experience and focuses on creating long-term value while adhering to leading environmental, social, and governance standards.

As one of the largest olive oil producers in the world, the asset will be an excellent complement to the global collection of high-quality row and permanent farmland currently held in the Fiera Comox Global Agriculture portfolio.
