    The cost of keeping kids in sports is rising, and it’s hitting families hard. A recent Canadian Youth Sports Report from Solutions Research Group Consultants Inc. found that the average family spends around $5,000, with costs soaring up to $10,000 for sports like Hockey, Dance, Cheerleading, and Football. In fact, 58% of Canadian parents report financial struggles when it comes to supporting their children’s sports. FlipGive has partnered with Home Hardware Stores Limited to distribute over $120,000 in grants, ensuring that kids can keep playing the sports they love. At FlipGive, we recognize that the rising costs of youth sports puts increasing pressure on Canadian families. As registration fees, equipment expenses, and travel costs continue to climb, paying for youth sports has become increasingly challenging. That’s why we’re giving away over $120,000 in matching grants to help Canadian youth sports teams and families. The first 1200 teams to raise $100 will receive a $100 matching grant, helping to ease the financial burden and keep kids in the game.
