Form3 is based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Since 1997 we have worked closely with many clients, across a wide range of industry sectors, who share our passion for great design. Our goal is to create products of substance that are more desirable, useful, and sustainable. Our work overcomes technical challenges, improves user experience, and adds value for businesses. Gaining insights from different projects expands our knowledge base and allows us to cross-pollinate ideas, appealing to companies and entrepreneurs looking for innovative solutions to challenging problems. Our projects in areas of consumer electronics, sport and fitness, medical, and green technology have accumulated over 40 successfully issued design and utility patents held in North America and Europe. Teamwork and attention to detail have contributed to getting many products successfully into production and reaching the marketplace. A valuable mix of creative abilities and technical expertise helps entrepreneurs and small businesses address substantial challenges due to limited manufacturing volumes and lack of funding. Form3 presents at the JEC World Composites Show in Paris, France I recently spoke at the recent JEC Group Summit Building & Infrastructure Conference on Composites in construction- next generation, low carbon, engineered solutions for architects. Our panel focused on the modular balcony project we developed with Henriquez Partners Architects and the consultant team for Westbank Corp's Oakridge development and BFG International also presented two exciting projects using composites. Congratulations to Team ORA from British Columbia Institute of Technology for winning our 2nd annual YVR Student Hackathon! The team went above and beyond pitching their crow's nest facility detection system, leveraging the Raspberry Pi technology provided to participants, and diving into hardware enhancements and the business case as part of their presentation. A big thank you to all our participants from BCIT, Northeastern University Vancouver, Simon Fraser University, The University of British Columbia, and University Canada West, as well as our Hackathon partners Ainsworth Inc. and Schneider Electric for making this incredible week possible.

To clean the oceans at scale, we need to be at maximum efficiency. This means placing our cleanup systems in the areas with the highest density of plastic, ensuring we catch as much as we can at minimal expense. A key objective for our research team is providing data-driven insights to help us determine optimal locations for cleanup operations. New technology and tools incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) are helping us create detailed maps of plastic concentration in remote ocean locations. We recently rolled out our latest research initiative, the Automated Debris Imaging System of Ocean Plastic (ADIS). ADIS consists of advanced AI sensor cameras placed on seafaring vessels to map floating plastics in the ocean. The ADIS project received endorsement from the UN Ocean Decade this year. Our partner Hyundai GLOVIS (Head Quater) will support our data gathering by attaching ADIS cameras to Hyundai Glovis vessels operating in oceans all over the world. We expect to gain access to huge amounts of pollution information from new and poorly researched areas - all without disrupting vessel operations. . As 2023 comes to an end, we'd like to say THANK YOU to our clients and partners for putting your trust in us this year.
