  • We are excited to share our partnership with Alberta Medical Association to create a digital education platform for Alberta's medical community! AMA wanted to create a comprehensive, accredited learning management system. Our team was brought in to develop an effective, practical platform for busy medical professionals and build engaging vetted content. How does communications fit into developing online adult education content? Our thorough approach guaranteed that the educational materials were inclusive and met the needs of all learners. We prioritized understanding learners' varied backgrounds and reaching a variety of diverse learning styles. We tied in hands-on activities that can be adapted to each learning style and added fun elements throughout to maintain user engagement and interaction. Over three years, this collaboration produced 60+ courses with subject matter experts to build a foundation on user experience, branding, and engagement. Once these courses were made available, we pivoted to develop marketing strategies such as newsletters, social media content, and stakeholder collateral.     PSA: The communication professional does SO much more than just "make it pretty"! We've all heard it: "The comms team will make it look pretty." Yes, we can sprinkle some design magic, but there's way more to what we do. We organize content so it's easier to read than your phone bill, edit copy with the precision of a laser, and ensure communication so clear anyone can understand it. We're strategists, writers, planners, and wizards of the word. Reducing our work to just aesthetics is frustrating and dismisses the depth of our expertise and effort. Next time you think "make it pretty," remember: we're making it impactful (and still pretty fabulous). 💪✨

  • Say it after us: "Social media content does not have to involve us dancing." Creating social media content for your brand can be so much more than just jumping on the latest dance trend. Get creative with carousels and reels, or even utilize your stories more to increase your brand's online presence. Ask yourself these questions as you brainstorm content ideas: - Who is your audience? Who are you trying to speak to with your content? Think about who you want to relate to your brand or who you want to help. - What do you want your audience to know about your brand or product? Think of three to five ways you can talk about that - instead of giving all the information in one big post, can you break it up into five smaller posts? - What do you want them to do after they've seen your content (e.g. Like, comment, share, or click a link to your website)? Include a call-to-action in your post to tell your audience what to do next, or where to find your product. Social media content can be anything you want it to be - educational, relatable, user-generated or curated.
