⚡It is our firm belief that power line robotics is NOT meant to replace skilled line workers. Instead, it maximizes the SAFETY and EFFICIENCY of high-risk overhead line tasks and frees up valuable and scarce human labour for other tasks that need it more.⚡ Thanks again, National Grid, for this exciting demonstration opportunity to showcase our LineFly and CSR-TWIN robots' exceptional abilities in installing bird flight diverters and spacers. With our safety-by-design philosophy, we are increasing efficiency without compromising safety, and we believe that this is the way forward to help the electrical utility industry meet ambitious grid-expansion goals in the future. How can robotics work side-by-side with lineworkers, to make the grid smarter and safer? We recently invited leaders from the energy and aviation sectors to deliver live tech demonstrations at our Eakring facility. This first-of-its-kind event in the UK was key to showcasing the latest technological advancements and sharing knowledge across industries and geographies. In the long term, tech advancements can free up skilled lineworkers and helicopter fleets to focus on other specialist tasks that require human performance.
