Views like this were a big perk while working on Saga Metals Corp. Double Mer Uranium Project in Labrador. We used our DJI Phantom 4 Pro drone to create detailed orthophoto base maps to replace the lower resolution satellite photos over the initial target zones.

Happy Work Anniversary to Shirley Tai. One year after graduating from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Earth Sciences, Shirley joined Geominex Consultants Inc in 2021 as a contract Geologist on our Colomac project. After several contracts, a lot of hard work, lessons learned, and a bit of fun, she joined the team on permanent bases. Shirley has logged core for gold and VMS projects, written reports and created maps for clients, managed data for company databases, and she’s moved core boxes around like they are nothing despite them being almost as tall as her. Recently, she stepped into a managing role and has immediately hit the ground running. Shirley is an integral part of the team who new and old team members alike can count on in a challenging situation with a smile and a bubbly attitude.

Welcome to STLLR Gold Inc.'s Colomac Camp! Geominex Consultants Inc has been working in the project in the Indin Lake Greenstone Belt since 2012 and have helped with a lot of improvements over the years.

Geominex is celebrating our 17-year anniversary. It all started with two seasoned exploration geologists and a head office in Vancouver, British Columbia. We are celebrating 17 years of making a difference. Our team has grown and our projects too. Our work has taken us to some unique places from all over Canada, to the Balkans, South and Central America, Fiji and more. We are celebrating 17 years of hard work, unique geological experiences, and most importantly our people and the communities we work with.

Happy 5-Year Work Anniversary to Riley Ledoux. It seems like it was yesterday that we met with a UBC graduate for a role as a field Geologist… time has gone by very fast. During these 5 years, Riley, has learned a wealth of practical knowledge and become an experienced geologist (who loves his rocks), a good manager and has obtained his P. Geo designation. We are so proud and lucky to have seen you grow professionally and personally in these five years. Keep up the great work. We are very excited to see what the next 5 years will bring.

The first wave of team members has arrived onsite for Hudbay Minerals Inc. Snow Lake summer exploration drilling. The crew are setting the first collar pickets and front sites and are eager for the first core to arrive in the coreshack.
