#DidYouKnow that Honduras became the 9th country in Latin America to join the Iniciativa de Paridad de Género Honduras? This initiative aims to reduce economic gender gaps and improve women's access to employment opportunities. During the launch of this initiative in the region, Claudia Sandoval, our Vice-President of Global Social Compliance and Environmental Affairs, presented an action plan to the Honduran Government, which focuses on increasing women’s presence in leadership positions and ensuring safe, harassment-free workplaces. #MadeWithRespect #MakingApparelBetter

As part of our 40th anniversary celebrations, employees from our DORTEX, Las Américas, San Pedro de Macorís, and San Isidro facilities in the Dominican Republic participated in an inter-facility sports tournament. Over 120 athletes competed in games of basketball and volleyball, strengthening team bonds all while supporting local community causes. How? Each team represented an organization in their community, and in order for their team’s chosen organization to receive a donation from Gildan, they had to win. Congratulations to DORTEX's volleyball and Las Américas' basketball teams for their victories! Our facilities in Nicaragua recently celebrated the Gildan Glow Dance! This incredible event brought employees together to dance and support a great cause: Fundación Teletón, a non-profit organization that supports the rehabilitation and social inclusion of children with disabilities. Our Villanueva facility in Honduras organized their annual Health Fair, dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of our employees and their families. Over 1,200 people attended, enjoying free medical consultations, vaccinations, ultrasounds, medical supplements, beauty services, and fun recreational activities for all ages.
