Northumberland Strait Tour Change We've had such a perfect week with great interest from lots of folk but unfortunately, we’re unable to demo in Pugwash this trip due to logistical challenges - we can’t launch the boat in our time window. So we’re moving the next demo to Halifax and will post dates and times as soon as we can. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause we look forward to seeing you on the sea cucumber in Halifax.

We're building electric boats, reducing GHGs and helping improve the health of our oceans.
About us
Glas Ocean Electric (GOE) is bringing clean energy to coastal communities through the integration of electric boats with community energy systems. By combining electrification and onboard dynamic energy storage, electric boats present an opportunity to introduce more renewable energy to electrical grids and the communities they serve. We see electric boats as potential “energy storage wrapped in a boat”. By creating a dynamic storage system on board, GOE enables electric boats to supply energy for peak shaving and emergency power and as a load source that accepts intermittent renewable power when available.
