We are bursting with pride to share that our very own Nic Raytek has been named one of the 2025 #Clean50 in the Emerging Leaders category! Nic has become a pivotal force in shaping Canada’s sustainability discourse through her role as the lead of GLOBE Series’ Program team. Over the course of her tenure, she’s connected over 1,700 interesting speakers with thousands of attendees, while building a values-driven team that integrates diverse perspectives, including young voices, into essential climate dialogues. Focused on aligning partner needs with GLOBE’s mission for actionable outcomes, Nic strives to ensure that every interaction drives meaningful progress, and fosters cross-sectoral collaboration, striving for a more sustainable future. Nic Raytek was chosen after rigorous screening and research by Delta Management, with advice from internal researchers and external advisors, and was among Honourees selected from an initial pool of well over 1,000 well qualified nominees.”– Gavin Pitchford, CEO, Delta Management Group - founders of Canada's Clean50 Awards Please join us in congratulating Nic and all of the 2025 Honourees of Canada's Clean50! https://lnkd.in/g4BybwSc
I am extremely honoured to be named as one of the 2025 #Clean50 Emerging Leaders, which I am proud to accept on behalf of the entire GLOBE Series team. A special thank you to every member of the program team – Carolyn Hotchkiss, Eliza Solis-Maart (she/her), Luk P., Malia Yee, Yashree Sharma and everyone across Profoundry who contributes their expertise – it is all of your hard work, dedication, and passion that is being recognized through this award. Elizabeth Gamble, without your unrelenting support and mentorship, none of this would have been possible. #ClimateAction is a team sport and you are all the real MVPs. It was a truly inspiring experience to be surrounded by so many amazing changemakers yesterday at the #c50summit. The impact of coming together – the planned and unplanned collisions that create new partnerships and reinvigorate connections with old friends – cannot, and should not, be underestimated. I hope you’ll all join me in celebrating this year's Canada's Clean50 honourees! https://lnkd.in/gmyBjz7Y

One of the biggest w(rap) up performances I did this year was back in February at the GLOBE Series in Vancouver where the incomparable Elizabeth Gamble gave me the main stage on the last day, after a world-class line-up of speakers, each of whom added a narrative thread to the story of our time: the reconciliation of economic prosperity with ecological sustainability, and the challenge of continuing to do business in a warming world. Here's a video of my rap set, featuring shout outs to Bryony Worthington (an excellent name for a Baroness), Terry Teegee, Keilani Rose and Linda Coady, Canadian Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Jonathan Wilkinson, Heather Chalmers from GE Vernova, Andrea C Barrack from RBC, Pauline Martin from Microsoft, Kat Cadungog, and Richard Saines from Pollination. At one point in my set the lyrics I had prepared (which I started writing about 90 minutes before showtime) were not displayed and I switched to freestyling with only the name and company of each speaker as a prompt, but I don't think that section stands out too badly on the re-watch. It was also at Globe that I met the wonderful Tahira Endean, MsC, CITP, CMP, CED, which is why I'm now on my way to IMEX in Vegas for four days of performances next week. Enjoy the video, and please think of Event Rap for all of your thrilling grand finale (and useful executive summary) conference needs! #Globe #Mainstage #Sustainability #RapUp #CustomRap #EventPlanner #IMEX
