About us
Green Belting Industries is a group of 4 manufacturing companies of heat resistant fabrics of glass, aramid, polyester, filter media and woven wire. These technically advanced materials are enhanced with polymer coatings (e.g. polytetrafluoroethylene or PTFE), to create non-adhering performance materials that resist extreme temperatures, severe chemical and biological environments, and physical stress. In addition to manufacturing the base materials, Green Belting Industries is among the world’s largest and most innovative converters of high performance coated fabrics. Staffed with highly skilled technicians – we perform heat bonding, laminating, machine cutting and sewing with specialized machinery - which mirrors the integration of traditional craft and high technology in the fabrics themselves. With more than 50 years of diverse experience across many industries, Green Belting Industries takes pride in providing products and service of the highest quality to ensure that our clients benefit from the best solutions to meet their manufacturing specifications. Green Belting's foundations began in 1966 as Green Belting Industries Limited (GBI). Today, it comprises of Green Belting Industries (Canada), Greenbelt Industries (US), Biscor (UK) and Mapelli (Italy) with plants and offices in each of these country locations. An ISO 9001 Quality Registered company, Green Belting Industries continuously strives for improvement – a challenge that is embedded into every operation and owned by every employee
