On Friday, September 13th, the 5th annual Velo Blu Pedal for Blu Genes charity ride took place with the participation of over 140 people. This year’s event saw an impressive turnout and new sponsors, raising over $400k to advance gene therapy research for rare genetic diseases. Hosted at the picturesque Peller Estates Winery, Velo Blu features various cycling routes and challenges, providing a rewarding experience while supporting crucial gene therapy research for rare diseases. The funds raised will significantly advance innovative treatments and offer hope to families affected by rare genetic conditions. Congratulations to Aaron Cockerill for his outstanding performance at the DP World Tour Amgen Irish Open!  With his fourth top-10 finish of the year, Aaron has moved up to 39th place in the Race to Dubai rankings. The top 50 players qualify for the DP World Tour Championship. We are proud to partner with such a dedicated young Canadian who is truly making waves on the global stage. Last week, runners gathered for the 15th annual Constantine Yorkville Run, raising over an impressive $561,304! This year's event offered both an in-person 5K run/walk and a virtual option, allowing everyone to participate in the excitement. More than a race, the Constantine Yorkville Run celebrates community and offers a meaningful way to give back. Over the past 14 years, the event has raised over $4.8 million for more than 20 local charities, thanks to the incredible support from participants and the community.
