Introducing The Grief Nook: 15-Minute Sessions for Reflection and Grounding. We’re excited to present The Grief Nook—a new space dedicated to brief but meaningful moments of reflection, connection, and grounding. In just 15 minutes, The Grief Nook offers you the chance to pause, find your footing, and reconnect with yourself. It’s a time to settle into stillness, embrace silence, and listen with openness. In each of the sessions facilitated by Sarah Hines, SB Rawz or Sarah Mayfield, MEd, NCC, CT, you’ll have the opportunity to briefly share in the chat what you’re grieving—whether it’s simply their name, your relationship, or an event. We’ll hold these together in a moment of collective silence, creating a shared space for support and understanding. Check out our schedule and join us for any session that suits your schedule. This is a no charge service, dedicated to all of those who persevere through the storm swirl of grief. https://lnkd.in/gDq8WMVq #TheGriefNook #Healing #GriefSupport #CommunityCare #MentalHealthMatters

Leadership & Executive Coach I Intuitive l Elevating women & leadership I Paving a new way of leading I A visionary of the future of leadership I Writer I EQ-i 2.0/ EQ 360 Cert.

You're doubting yourself and unable to be who you are because your leadership is the *same* as your leader. And you're not your leader. Being authentic to who you are begins with getting honest with where you're selling yourself short and hiding parts of yourself to fit in. And when you do? ✔️ Your leadership effectiveness goes up ✔️ You build stronger relationships with your team and others ✔️ You're seen more for who you are instead of who you're not ✔️ You inspire others to be true to who *they are* If you're in this place now, start with WHO you're modelling your leadership from. If your current role model doesn't resonate with you, don't be afraid to seek out others who do. The right role model can be a powerful source of inspiration and guidance. . . Leading authentically comes up all too often in client work, and for good reason. Imposing how others should lead that aligns with someone else's definition of "success" or "leadership" doesn't encourage authenticity. It encourages uniformity. As women, leading in male-dominated environments often creates pressure to show up more masculine in order to be recognized and "fit in." It's no wonder leaders are often conflicted with the question: How am I supposed to show up? . . We'll discuss this and more at HER Lead, with panelist speaker Sarah Hines leading the discussion of authenticity. Sarah's expertise lies in grief and legacy work, yet I'm eager to hear her remarks on how we can lead authentically in ALL environments and in times of grief. Another topic I never thought I'd see at a leadership or business-related event. If there's anything I've learned about grief since meeting Sarah, it's the countless moments in our lives where we experience grief (beyond death), where we wouldn't consider grieving, yet we do. Sarah has integrated her life experience with multiple facets of learning, certifications, and training, including Grief Coaching, Deathcaring, Trauma and mental Health Certifications, IFS Therapy and Somatic Practitioner Training, and over 20 years as a corporate consultant.  She comes to us with one mission: to help us cultivate a relationship with our grief so that we can live inside our passion, purpose and legacy as compassionate leaders. The world needs more compassionate leadership, and I'm so grateful for Sarah's powerful and important work. . . If this sounds familiar and you want to be part of this powerful discussion, join me at HER Lead. The topics are fantastic, and I can't wait to engage in this discussion! Early bird pricing is available until the end of August. Link below for ticket information and more. I can't wait to meet you! #leadership #herlead #womeninleadership

Grief in Canada Survey Results are in. Here is a summary: Needless to say, there is work to be done and we are getting there but I wanted to note a few big findings here that correlate to the data we are seeing in our work with healthcare teams. ❣ Anticipatory Grief is on the rise as is the increased cases of Dementia. ❣ Grief services need to expand in healthcare & underserved communities. ❣ Loss of a Pet is in the Top 3 - Finally it is getting recognized! ❣ We are finally seeing statistic on Pregnancy Loss! ❣ Validation that grief is a significant part of our lives from loss of a job to loss of self. This is a step in the right direction. Thank you to the Canadian Grief Alliance for sharing the data! https://lnkd.in/g-PskJe9 #grief #loss #healthcare #Canada
