Prior to joining the Canadian Climate Institute, Sachi was the Manager of Climate Change Policy for the Government of Nova Scotia. She previously worked with the Pembina Institute and Ivey Foundation. The Orchid Women’s Health Initiative has made a meaningful difference in women’s healthcare in our region and we are just getting started. In 2 years we helped to create the Deanne Reeve Pelvic Health Suite at The Dartmouth General Hospital and delivered $730k for new technology and equipment to the gyne dept of IWK Health. This year we have partnered with the QE2 Foundation with a lofty goal of raising $1M for the acquisition of a new DiVinci XI robot dealing with pelvic floor cancers.
