Building on their successful planting efforts in 2023, The First Dundas Cub and Scouts Pack joined HCA once again to enhance local biodiversity. This year, the Scouts contributed to the greening of our community by planting native shrubs and trees at Lower Spencer, further enriching the site's ecological diversity. Their ongoing commitment helps foster a more vibrant and sustainable environment. Great job, Cubs and Scouts!

There’s no shortage of trails to hike in the Hamilton area or even at HCA, but there’s really only one place you can step back in time and nature as you explore. Westfield Heritage Village Conservation Area recently added to its trail system and now offers nearly 7 KM of trails. https://lnkd.in/gyh34-7h

We are thrilled to announce that thanks to our amazing donors, supporters and Hamilton Conservation Foundation, we’ve successfully reached our fundraising goal for the Valens Fishing Bridge repair! After the devastating fire, our incredible team worked hard to repair the bridge just in time for Thanksgiving weekend, and it wouldn’t have been possible without YOU! Although we’ve covered the cost of repairs, additional donations are still welcome and will go towards the Valens Lake fund. This fund is dedicated to ongoing trail maintenance, boardwalk repairs, and other enhancements in the area. Thank you for your generous support and commitment to keeping Valens Lake beautiful and accessible for everyone! Learn more: https://lnkd.in/ggbYiiw3
