We’re taking a look back to the installation of the Queen Elizabeth II sculpture at the State Legislature in Ottawa back in November. We were honoured to work alongside sculptor Ruth Abernethy and several other suppliers and contractors on this piece. Honoured to share this beautiful family memorial we were commissioned to make. Our team crafted the headstone with care from polished and natural unpolished Jet Black granite. It features intricate sandblasted crosses and a detailed relief sculpture, depicting the Holy Family - a tribute to faith and everlasting love.

We’re always honing our skills here at HGH - and not just in all things granite. As you can see from our behind-the-scenes shot, some of the team got to grips with First Aid and safety training recently. Our colleagues Lorenzo, Renay, Sam and Keshia all took the two-day course, which means Team HGH now has an extra four safe pairs of hands in case of an emergency! Good work, guys!

'Variety is the spice of life'! We transported an 8-ton load of Granite cemetery memorials for the good folks at HGH Granite Inc. today to the east side of Toronto and couldn't help but take some pictures on this beautiful Autumn day! We've hauled steel, heavy equipment, cars, construction safety components and pretty well anything that can sit on a flat deck. We treat the materials and equipment we carry, with the same care and attention as we do our own. ✨️
