We’re thrilled to share some of the best moments from our recent pilot course “Plan for Research Impact with the UN Sustainable Development Goals” conducted in collaboration with the The University of British Columbia MICRO-BODD team. Co-certified by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), CIFAL Victoria, and Hikma, this course helps scholars mobilize their research in alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The MICRO-BODD team shared their course projects with the partners who attended their Annual General Meeting. A huge thank you to MICRO-BODD partners City of Surrey (Rodolfo Sanchez, Prat Rialch), City of Vancouver, City of Richmond, SHAPE, RDH Building Science, and UBC Okanagan Facilities Management (Martin Gibbs). Looking forward to another year of collaboration to advance sustainable infrastructure. This project is made possible with generous support from Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) #UNSDGs #ResearchImpact #HikmaHi5 UBC Civil Engineering
