He stopped by our Crete Headquarters in his PPE to devise his Trick-or-Treat strategy: Safety first and Fill the Bag! 🍬 📸: @lyna110 Halloween Safety Tips Cross the street at corners, using traffic signals and crosswalks. Always walk on sidewalks or paths when available. Carry glow sticks or flashlights to be seen by drivers. When selecting a costume, ensure it is the right size to prevent trips and falls. Slow down and be especially alert in residential neighborhoods. Children are excited on Halloween and may move in unpredictable ways. Enter and exit driveways and alleys slowly and carefully. Turn your headlights on earlier in the day to spot children from greater distances. Take extra time to look for kids at intersections, on medians, and curbs.

We had a great visit with IMA member Holland, L.P. in Crete earlier today where we toured their facility and joined State Senator Patrick Joyce and State Representative Anthony DeLuca in presenting them with an Employer Training Investment Program (ETIP) reimbursement grant on behalf of the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity. Harvest is here! The ACS sugar beet harvest has started full swing. This marks the start of the 2024/2025 sugar campaign. The Holland M-Bar-D team has ramped up to full force to provide excellent service aid in harvest, Coal unloading and delivering, Limestone transloading and much more.
