  • Beautiful reflections about #SVI2024 from Travis Smith . SVI might be the only business conference with low tide Ultimate Frisbee on the agenda... Travis is entrepreneur who makes it happen!

Just returned to Vancouver from Social Venture Institute 2024, held at the Hollyhock Leadership Institute, all full of good ideas and connections and somehow quite refreshed despite the density and intensity of the event. 🌟 My co-worker, who knows how much travelling I've been doing this quarter, when he saw me on Zoom halfway through the five-day event, said, "Wow, you look great!" and was shocked. Perhaps it was all the salads 🥗 they "make" you eat. Or the ocean dip I did. The learning and connections from attending SVI has helped my business grow, and it's been part of some really intense personal growth and change as well. It's a fantastic place to get in touch simultaneously with nature, with the world of business, and with myself. 🤔 And no, no one asked me to write this ;) It's just my way of reminding myself when next year I ponder going that yes, it's worth the time and the effort it takes to get there and to do it.
