IAHV offers programs to reduce stress and develop leaders so that human values can thrive in people & communities
About us
OUR MISSION IAHV offers programs to reduce stress and develop leaders so that human values can flourish in people and communities. We foster the daily practice of human values – a sense of connectedness and respect for all people and the natural environment, an attitude of non-violence, and an ethic of social service. Our programs enhance clarity of mind, shift attitudes and behaviours, and develop leaders and communities that are resilient, responsible, and inspired. IAHV Programs Our key focus is on serving children, inmates, and veterans and first responders. SKY SCHOOLS SKY Schools is dedicated to providing youth with a healthy body, a healthy mind and a healthy lifestyle. We do this by offering youth practical tools and life skills to manage stress and emotions. When students learn how to manage their stress in a healthy way, they exhibit greater confidence and motivation to succeed in school and make healthy choices when faced with life’s challenges. PRISON SMART The Prison S.M.A.R.T. objective is to make a life-transforming difference in the lives of all people within the criminal justice system, by teaching skills for reducing stress, healing trauma, and providing practical knowledge of how to handle one’s emotions, live to one’s highest potential and contribute to society. PROJECT WELCOME HOME TROOPS Project Welcome Home Troop’s Power Breath Meditation workshop transforms lives restoring wellbeing, mental focus and a renewed sense of connection and purpose. Research shows that Veterans and Military Members can get relief from chronic and traumatic stress using our scientifically backed breath-based meditation techniques.
