Calling all Indigenous Creatives & Filmmakers 🎥 I am very excited to share this pilot project I've been working on this past year! In partnership with Indigenous Screen Office & Telefilm Canada; Sacred Earth Solar will be hosting an exciting new pilot workshop focused on Sustainable Filmmaking and Best Practices from an Indigenous Lens. Join us for a 3-hour engaging workshop alongside seasoned Indigenous filmmakers who tell powerful stories on screen, and advocate for sustainable practices behind the scenes! During this pilot, we will learn about best practices that have been laid out in the film industry and discuss how Indigenous values and epistemology are critical as we move forward towards sustainable filmmaking to reflect Indigenous values of protecting Mother Earth, both on and off the screen. 📅 Monday November 25th 🕐 1pm PST to 4pm PST / 4pm EST - 7pm EST 🌐 Live simultaneous translation provided by Telefilm Canada 🔗 https://lnkd.in/gVRnUigW Please share and we hope to see you there! ☀
