InDro Robotics provides a full-range of remotely-piloted ‘unmanned’ aerial, water and land services as well as various mission-specific sensor packages to address the globe's most complex issues. Our team of seasoned drone and manned aviation pilots, Ph.D.'s in remote sensing, GIS/IT professionals, engineers, and industry specialists work together to ensure that we develop and deploy effective unmanned services. We work with a network of partners who complement our in-house skill set and enable us to apply our mastery of data robotics to address unique needs of industry and government. Our Mission To expand the responsible use of remotely-piloted and unmanned technology into viable sectors by working with clients to identify then deliver, best-use services, products and training.     ✨Decided to stop gatekeeping my application assessment framework... The STAGE framework identifies #ApplicationCategories that help companies easily determine where/how ground robots can amplify their #Automation strategy. By breaking down use cases into core functions—Security, Transport, Analysis, Gather, and Engagement—it provides a means of assessing how ground robots can boost safety, streamline operations, improve data-driven insights, and/or interact with assets. #Security - Robot provides continuous oversight to preserve and protect an organization's assets and stakeholders #Transport - Robot carries or pulls materials, equipment and/or personnel to reduce physical labor requirements #Analysis - Robot perceives environment in real-time to provide actionable intelligence about the state of its assets (human out-of-the-loop) #Gather - Robot is the means of navigating an independent sensor stack into areas that were previously inaccessible (human in-the-loop) #Engagement - Robot physically interacts with equipment to automate repetitive or dangerous tasks Of the companies I speak with, I've found that ~95% of ideas fall under at least 1 of these categories, and this approach ultimately guides them toward a solution that matches their operational needs and long-term goals. More often than not, my clients begin by considering a robot for only 1/5 application types, but we ultimately land on a solution that satisfies 2-3 categories to strengthen the business case & justify the investment.

    Remote inspection of assets like electrical substations requires a very special kind of robot.   It must be robust, impervious to weather, and a snap to deploy on autonomous missions. It must have powerful AI compute and machine vision to capture and relay critical data in realtime – regardless of the distance from those monitoring the deployments.
