🌍 MFC at Gener8: Inspiring Future Environmental Leaders! 🌍 On March 16, the MFC Games team had the incredible opportunity to conduct a national-level workshop at Gener8, hosted by Inside Education! 🎉 This event brought together students from 20 schools across Canada, spanning from British Columbia to Newfoundland and Yukon, all united by a passion for sustainability and environmental education. Engaging with these bright young minds was an amazing experience! The enthusiasm and curiosity they brought to the workshop truly reinforced the importance of youth-led initiatives in shaping a greener future. 💡🌱 A huge thank you to Inside Education for organizing such an impactful event, to all the students who participated, and to the The Best Western Premier Calgary Plaza Hotel & Conference Centre for providing a fantastic venue to make it all happen! This great group of Grade 5 & 6 students from Suzuki Charter School had an absolute blast diving into our new climate classroom activities! 🤗 It’s such an honour to partner with the City of Edmonton: Change For Climate to help students to learn about climate monitoring, climate change mitigation and adaptation, water stewardship and so much more! 🌎♻️💚

Yesterday we celebrated #CdnAgDay with an unforgettable Regional Agriculture Day program in #GrandePrairie! 🧑🌾🚜🌾 105 students from Isabel Campbell Public School and St. Mary's Sexsmith had a chance to check out the National Bee Diagnostic Centre (NBDC), Foster's Seed & Feed Ltd, the County of Grande Prairie lab, equipment shop and dockage area, and spent time learning from Indigenous educator, Elder Len Auger! 🐝🐄🌱 We’re SO grateful to our incredible hosts and tour guides, and for the support of our partners the Sustainable Canadian Agriculture Partnership, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada/ Agriculture et Agroalimentaire Canada, Government of Alberta and Nutrien!
