Student participants of the recent Canadian Association for Girls in Science (CAGIS) event at the Institute for Quantum Computing made quantum-inspired art, measured the width of a human hair with wave interference, and saw quantum effects demonstrations like photon interference and superconductivity. The Making Quantum Waves event showed the joy of community coming together to celebrate and discover quantum science and technology for girls and gender-diverse youth!
