About us

We are pleased to have the opportunity to introduce our business to you. Integrated Mechanical Services (2014) Inc. is located in the city of Stratford, Ontario. Our personnel of licensed millwrights, electricians, machinists, tool and die makers, welders & pipe fitters have allowed us to serve the industry with a wide variety of services. This translates into one-stop shopping. With a fully equipped machine shop as well as a fabrication shop, we have complete control of every project in-house. We welcome machining challenges, from machine repair to “big part” machining, as well as short run production, CNC milling, turning and precision tooling as well as machine building. Our fabrication abilities are also extensive including structural, sheet, and specialty metals. We have a reputation for making high-grade stainless fabrications for food production and otherwise. To complement our fabricating process, we are Canadian Welding Bureau Certified Division 2.1 and TSSA accredited to provide shop fabrication, field installation and erection of piping systems in accordance with CSA-B51, ASME-B31.1 power piping, ASME B31.3 process piping and ASME B31.5 refrigeration piping. We can provide the necessary planning, organization, and co-ordination to meet your job-specific criteria. By utilizing 3D mechanical design software, we have attained a high level of mechanical design capability. We also offer on-site services for any mechanical work, electrical work, or project management.   • Integrated Mechanical Services (2014) Inc. is seeking CNC Mill Machinists to join the team at our location in Stratford, Ontario. POSITION TITLE: CNC Mill Machinist - Days (programming/setup required) Starting hourly rate based on experience Competitive benefits package JOB SUMMARY: The CNC Mill Machinist programs, sets up, and operates multi-axis CNC milling machines. Working from part prints, process sheets, quality documentation, and CAD models to produce precision components to print. The CNC Mill Machinist promotes a work environment that is positive, safe, seeks to continuously improve, and is focused on meeting the goals and objectives of the company. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Capable of creating and troubleshooting 2.5 axis toolpaths at minimum. - 5+ years’ experience programming, setting-up and operating 3 to 5 axis machining centers. - Conducts in process inspection of components to ensure conformity to quality requirements , using precision measuring instruments (i.e., CMM, mics, gauges, etc.) - Strong working knowledge of GD&T. - Maintain a clean and safe work area. - Follow standard safety procedures and personal protective equipment requirements. - Work with other departments on projects, designs, and process improvements. - Mentor junior machinist apprentices. - Great personality and ability to work well with others. - Motivated self-starter, with excellent attention to detail. - Naturalized English communication skills. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: - High School Diploma or equivalent required. - Completion of trade school preferred. - Preference given to those with multi-axis and or macro programming experience. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: - Frequently required to lift and/or carry from 10-30 lbs., - Some heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs. - Sitting, standing, and/or walking in a manufacturing environment. - Regularly required to talk and or hear, see, handle, reach, see color, and perform repetitive motion.
