It was so great to hear from Merella Botros, Brandon Pederson and Matt Sutton at the Ontario Brain Injury Association back-to-school conference in September. One of our team's key takeaways was the ongoing challenge of proving functional changes, particularly when a client can complete rote activities of daily living. Demonstrating the small changes that have a big impact, such as fatigue after driving, continues to be a big concern for personal injury cases. Courts often overlook the long-term consequences of activities that affect our clients' function. As Matt said, "What is the cost of doing that task?" Invisible-Care offers a solution. Invisible-Care's support workers talk to your client every day. With the help of our proprietary software, OttoPrompts, we can provide lawyers with thorough documentation of a client's function before, during, and after a task. This helps lawyers prove their client's functional changes and build compelling cases. #personalinjury #OBIA #AOE2024

About us
Invisible-Care is a virtual support service that provides on-demand, remote, and personalized support that facilitates activities of daily living. Invisible-Care uses both live support workers and technology to provide clients with real-time support. Invisible-Care's technology is driven by OttoPrompts, our proprietary software which aids in scheduling prompts that seamlessly go to a client's smartphone via text. Through texting, calls, and video chat, Invisible-Care’s support workers provide a variety of cues and prompts. These prompts, such as medication reminders, daily affirmations, and transportation support, all help support clients with building routines and performing activities of daily living. Invisible-Care's unique model allows clients to receive the care they need, while simultaneously freeing up valuable in-person clinical care resources for higher-needs clients. Invisible-Care’s innovative approach, in which human care is enhanced by technology, transforms support to be just a text away.

As the COVID-19 pandemic sent shockwaves through every aspect of society, healthcare was one of the industries that took the biggest hit. With social distancing rules being implemented, the healthcare industry had to adapt and find a new way to support clients. One popular solution to social distancing rules was telehealth care. Bandwidth's 2023 report SMS: A Growing Tool In Health Care states that in the United States during the COVID-19 pandemic, telehealth visits increased by over 4,000 percent for non-urgent care clients. In Canada, Statistics Canada reports that three in five Canadians used virtual health care services during the pandemic. As the healthcare industry started to embrace telehealth, it became clear that Telehealth offers more than just social distancing benefits. Some telehealth benefits include: - Automated scheduling - Easily notify patients of appointments - Quickly answer patient questions - It is easily accessible (Statistics Canada reports that 80% of Canadians have a phone) As the benefits of telehealth demonstrate, it is not merely a temporary solution that healthcare providers resorted to during the COVID-19 crisis. Instead, it represents the future of client-centred accessible care, offering long-term benefits that extend beyond the pandemic. Moving forward, Invisible-Care continues to be a leading expert in SMS and telehealth care. Our experience has shown that telehealth is more than a one-time solution to the challenges posed by COVID-19. It is a practical and innovative approach to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Let’s face it—arranging in-person attendant care can sometimes be challenging, not to mention time-consuming. Finding a good fit to match a client's needs, personality and preferences can sometimes significantly delay the initiation of attendant care services. That’s where remote indirect attendant care can help, offering a smart solution that’s both time-efficient and cost-effective, while also being client-centered and meaningful. 💡 Instead of your client having to wait days for an in-person session, they can hop on a phone/video call with a support worker or care professional almost instantly. Virtual care means quicker access to support, whether it’s for medication management, ADL management, wellness check-ins, or even emotional support. No more long wait times or unnecessary delays. 💡Plus, remote care is incredibly convenient as there are no travel expenses (which continue to remain a pain point for funding on one too many files), and since virtual visits can be shorter and more focused, clients often get the help they need without paying for extended in-person visits. It’s efficient, streamlined, and tailored to fit clients’ schedules and budgets. 💡With remote virtual attendant care, your clients not just save time—they’re also getting flexible, accessible support right when they need it for the independence they want. #rehabilitation #rehab #braininjury #concussion #chronicpain #spinalcordinjury #mva #catastrophicinjury #accidentinsurance #claimsmanagement #occupationaltherapy #occupationaltherapist #casemanagement #personalinjury #personalinjurylawyer #homecare #longtermcare #communitycare #communityengagement #seniorcare #healthtech #attendantcare #personalsupport #psw #behavioralhealth #ondemandservices #seniorcare #claims #catastrophicinjury #sabs #invisiblecare #assistivetechnology #assistedliving #assistivetech #cognitivehealth #remotemonitoring #telehealth #telemedicine #digitalhealth #mentalhealthsupport #mentalhealth #healthtech #healthtechinnovation #pediatrichealth #oap #habilitation #techinhealthcare #artificialintelligence #healthcareai
