Last night, we traded in our hard hats for suits to accept the prestigious VRCA - Vancouver Regional Construction Association Silver Award!⁣ ⁣ On Wednesday, September 18th we joined fellow Silver Award winners to celebrate all projects nominated this year.⁣ ⁣ Jacob Bros was honoured with the VRCA Silver Award for the YVR South Airfield Pavement Rehabilitation Project. ⁣ ⁣ The VRCA Awards of Excellence spotlight outstanding work in construction in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.⁣ ⁣ This marks Jacob Bros' fifth Silver Award nomination.⁣ ⁣ We’re excited to continue the celebration at the Awards of Excellence Gala in October, where one Gold Winner will be chosen from each category!⁣ 🏆 ⁣ #construction #VRCA #bc⁣

The end of an era!⁣ ⁣ After 40 years of fixing everything from bulldozers to bobcats, Jacob Bros’ legendary Head Mechanical Superintendent Rick Weir is finally hanging up his wrench. ⁣ ⁣ “Rick took immense pride in his work and can literally fix anything.
