This morning, Peterborough's Dragon Boat Festival Committee presented the fundraising proceeds from the 2024 Festival to the Peterborough Regional Health Centre Foundation. A record-breaking $312,025.18 was raised from the 2024 event, which will help enhance cancer screening, diagnosis and treatment in our region. At the cheque presentation, Kawartha Credit Union President & CEO Norah McCarthy announced that we will serve as Platinum Sponsor again in 2025 - marking our 24th consecutive year of proudly supporting this important cause.
