Happy World Photography Day! 📸 Today, we celebrate the art, craft, science, and history of photography. In honour of this day, we’re sharing insights on capturing an amazing professional headshot. Styles may change, but some core aspects of a great photo never do. You want to feel great, look your best, and represent your brand well — and we’re here to help! Here’s a shortlist of what works best for a successful photoshoot: - Avoid busy patterns, graphic shirts, reflective clothing, or large logos (unless it’s your company’s). - Solid colours always look best! - Make sure your outfit is ironed or de-wrinkled. - Bring an extra set of clothes, a hairbrush, and some hair product, just in case. - Unless otherwise specified, wear what you’d normally wear to work. - Avoid irritating your skin or trying new beauty looks right before the shoot. - A genuine smile and positive attitude always shine through in photos.
