#KCB welcomes our newest hires to the Vancouver office. Evan Hunt, P.Eng. is a Mechanical Engineer with a BASc from UBC and six years of industry experience. Prior to joining KCB, Evan worked extensively in construction, serving as a Field Engineer and Project Coordinator on significant water infrastructure projects, including the Site C Generating Station and Spillways contract for over four years. Since joining KCB, he has focused on the design of hydromechanical equipment and has overseen gate and hoist testing and commissioning in the field. Evan's key skills include planning and supervision of large-scale hydromechanical equipment and structural steel installations, conducting mechanical surveys and data analysis, performing field quality and safety inspections, and designing hydromechanical equipment. Maria Corazon Olaires is a seasoned Document Controller with over five years of experience in the field, holding a bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the Philippines. Her career has primarily focused on structural engineering projects, providing critical document management support while collaborating closely with project engineers and consultants. Maria excels in managing multiple tasks across various projects, coordinating activities, and maintaining focus on deadlines. Her key skills include efficient tracking and accurate distribution of information, prioritizing tasks effectively, and streamlining processes to enhance team support and productivity. Known for her collaborative spirit, Maria continuously seeks ways to improve processes and resolve issues, contributing significantly to the operational efficiency of her team. Junho Park is a Structural Engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering from McGill University, graduating in 2019. With four years of experience in the field, Junho has focused on the design of high-rise residential buildings and has also contributed to the renovation and structural rehabilitation of historic buildings. His knowledge is particularly strong in concrete and steel design, where he applies his technical skills to provide structural integrity. Junho's practical experience and educational background combine to make him a proficient engineer committed to the development and safety of urban infrastructure.
