Happy Independence Day! Today, July 4th, we commemorate the unanimous ratification of the Declaration of Independence in 1776, which established the United States of America as the independent nation we know today. We wish our American clients, colleagues, friends, and family members a safe and meaningful Independence Day with loved ones!

Today, July 1st, we commemorate the anniversary of the Constitution Act of 1867, which united three territories into the single nation we know today as Canada. We are proud to have our Canadian headquarters in Calgary, Alberta, and as we have learned and evolved, so have our celebrations. We observe this day in reflection and acknowledgment of our collective Canadian history, including the impact and legacy that colonialism and residential schools continue to have on the First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples of Canada. At LandSolutions, we will continue to contribute to building a more inclusive and equitable nation by living through our values and commitment to the communities in which we operate and live, with the shared intention to work toward healing and reconciliation for all. On behalf of our entire team, we wish all our fellow Canadians a safe and happy Canada Day long weekend! 🍁

As we continue to expand our North American Operations, LandSolutions is pleased to announce the promotion of Sean Taylor to Vice President of Land and Property, Canada East. Sean brings over 24 years of industry experience to the role. Since joining the company in 2021, his primary focus has been the development and growth of the North American Power and Renewables portfolio. In the capacity of his new role, Sean will drive expansion within Ontario and Atlantic Canada, supporting Energy and Infrastructure sectors, while working to further integrate technology into our service offerings. “Sean is a thoughtful and engaged leader with extensive industry experience and expertise that will continue to elevate our organization across Ontario and Atlantic Canada. I am very much looking forward to supporting him in his new role and the fresh perspective he will bring to LandSolutions’ senior leadership table,” says COO Jeff Burke.
