Our Saskatoon team has reached the 30% completion milestone at the La Ronge Long Term Care facility!   Committed to using local trades and suppliers, we have been actively engaging with the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies (SIIT), the local band, and the Town during the recruitment process. The facility will provide the community with an inspiring and functional space that will bring health care closer to home and benefit generations to come.   Read more about the project below!

The second phase of our Maillardville Community Centre project is ready for the neighourhood! The new outdoor space consists of a children’s play area, ample timber seating, an open lawn, and a flexible social plaza with a range of gathering options for games, events and performances. The Maillardville Community Centre was completed in fall 2022, replacing an existing 40-year-old facility. It features a mass timber roof and walls and includes a teaching kitchen, a youth and seniors lounge, a dedicated children’s space, a gymnasium, and a fitness studio. These amenities allow the centre to provide diverse, inclusive programs. Check out this bird’s eye view! #LedcorBuilds

This past weekend, a group of Ledcor employees in #Ontario built playgrounds for families with children facing life-threatening health conditions or special needs. This initiative allows children to have a safe place to play, in the comfort of their own backyard. The initiative was in support of the Million Dollar Smiles Auction fundraiser, where we raised more than $6,000 through donations from our vendor partners and Ledcor employees. With Ledcor’s corporate match, we’ll be able to build two additional playgrounds next year. We look forward to delivering the 16km connection - from King George Station to 203 Street in Langley City Centre - that will serve the region’s growing population for decades to come. Once complete, this transformative project will provide improved and more sustainable transportation options for the region, increase access to transit for several communities South of the Fraser River, and support economic development. Ledcor and Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. recently hosted the 4th Annual Sunbelt Ledcor Charity Golf Cup, which raised an outstanding $240,833 that will support the Local HERO Foundation and the Johnston family. Over the past four years, the event has raised a total of $741,343, all of which has been directed towards local causes in the Wood Buffalo region of Alberta.
