A big congratulations to our friends over at Clio - Cloud-Based Legal Technology on their recent Series F round! To give you an idea of the impact it will have on the legal space, I sent an email to a customer yesterday sharing that Clio has raised $900M and they replied back, asking if it was a typo... What Clio has done so far and what this round means for the legal tech space in general has been incredibly impactful and exciting. Naturally, there is strong synergy between the mission of Clio and the work we do at LegalMate — especially being a Clio partner ourselves, we are closely aligned behind simplifying and advancing the legal space. I’m particularly inspired by Jack Newton - the hard truth is that very few founders are able to build something at the scale Jack has with Clio and it’s been incredibly inspiring to watch. And, all that much sweeter that Clio, alike ourselves, are a proud Canadian company. Excited to see where this next round of funding takes this world class company.

Exciting news from LegalMate! We've just rolled out a new OneDrive and Clio - Cloud-Based Legal Technology automation that I’m excited to share! LegalMate can automatically create folder structures inside your OneDrive, then monitor for specific files that get uploaded to those folders. When a file is uploaded in OneDrive, LegalMate can create a new matter, calendar entry, note, task, or anything else you would normally do inside Clio. It can also sync the file back to your Clio Drive. This is a huge time saver for law firms who use Clio and OneDrive together.
