I like how LinkedIn is like "try writing with AI." Yea, no. Here's my one-pan shrimp scampi video. I spent a while stuck on the edit for this because it was very long. This gets the point across to a really wonderful dish, that can be varied up in many ways once you have the basic technique down. Happy Monday from VFX Legion and yours truly. I cooked all weekend while we wait on some bids to get approved. First up is a beef brisket cooked low and slow with caramelized onions. This is an amazing recipe from one of our former coordinator's mom. I make it every chance I get when there's a sale on brisket. Happy Tuesday. It feels like the VFX industry is slowly trying to pick up. We are out there looking for more to help with, but in the meantime, I whipped up this bacon/spinach, creamed spinach, video with some VFX talk in the middle. These videos were always envisioned to bridge my love of cooking with my love of making movies (or helping to). Ideally, it will be an interview series of cooking while dishing on the behind-the-scenes of film and television. I start today by discussing my role as a compositor while cooking one of my favorite side dishes for a prime rib dinner. Also edited and finished in Resolve... Still waiting for VFX work... in the meantime, I'm cooking, filming, and learning new tools. This one is cut in Davinci Resolve. I'm pretty happy with it, but it's a huge toolset I need to learn... some come on a chili journey with me and leave some comments about what you would do to make a better bowl of chili and subscribe to the channel...
