The great Aperol Spritz debate in the Vancouver office has finally been settled… or has it? Our team put their spritz-making skills to the test with different variations of the classic Aperol Spritz! It was full of fun, laughs, and some delicious drinks, all paired with an incredible charcuterie board. Who knew there were so many ways to make a spritz? 🍹 pictured: Lia Fuzzati, Erika Buzzolo, Antonella Gennusa

The MTA team attended a special groundbreaking ceremony for the Simcoe County Museum expansion project! The first dig was carved with the use of a vintage 1922 Erie B Steam Shovel, showcasing the heritage and culture that the museum curates and embraces! Located in Minesing, Ontario, the phased 14,000sf, mass timber addition involves the Matthews Innovation and Transportation Gallery, as well as area dedicated to curatorial functions and collections storage, and new gallery spaces that will offer additional space for themed exhibitions, interpretation, and programming. The facility is targeted to achieve high levels of sustainability through its zero carbon and all-electric design. “The Simcoe County Museum is a vital part of our region’s identity. It’s important to preserve and showcase Simcoe County’s great history. This expansion and the renovations being made will help build up our heritage and culture, while ensuring that the museum continues to evolve with our region’s growing history.” – Basil Clarke, County of Simcoe Warden Pictured L-R: Rutuja Atre, Ronen Bauer, Olivia Keung, Andrea Janzen, OAA, Maria Pavlou, and Sarah Xiaoyi Ni https://lnkd.in/gKHBMXau County of Simcoe | LEA Group | ZON Engineering Inc. & ZON Generation Ltd. | Lonergan Engineering | Capes Engineering Inc | Trophic Design Inc. | LMDG | InVision Engineering Solutions Inc. | CFMS Consulting Inc. #moriyamateshima #simcoecountymuseum #simcoecounty #museum #museumdesign #museumarchitecture #museumexpansion #groundbreaking #groundbreakingceremony #construction #ontarioconstruction #ontariohistory #history #heritage #artifacts #gallery #galleryspace #exhibition #historic #ontariomuseum #canadianmuseum #sustainable #sustainability #sustainablearchitecture #sustainablebuilding #mtarch

Today we are honoring National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. At LMDG, we acknowledge the history and lasting legacy of residential schools in Canada. We stand committed to the spirit of Truth and Reconciliation, honoring the survivors, families, and communities who have been impacted. We encourage you to explore the rich and diverse cultures, voices, experiences, and stories of the First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. Our team had the honour to be a part of Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre (KDCC) project in Whitehorse, YT. The KDCC serves as both a cultural hub and a gathering place, celebrating and preserving Kwanlin Dün First Nation culture, language, and traditions. It fosters the intergenerational transfer of knowledge, hosts cultural events, and supports both emerging and established Indigenous artists. KDCC welcomes thousands annually for a wide variety of events, ensuring Kwanlin Dün culture thrives for future generations. Its mission emphasizes cultural preservation, public engagement, and the protection of heritage resources, while celebrating Kwanlin Dün ways of life. Thank you for sharing your history with us.
